Smile Care is headed by a team of dedicated specialized professionals that have a vision to bring international standards of dentistry to the Indian Dental scenario. Our team of Dentists are skilled, experienced and well trained, abreast with the current trends in the field. Our visiting consultants are educators and practitioners who have a command on their respective fields backed by vast clinical experience.
DR. RATNADEEP PATIL
MANAGING DIRECTOR
An Implantologist and a Cosmetic Dentist, he has been in practice since 1988. He has a bachelor of dental surgery degree from Government dental college and hospital, Mumbai and Phd in Implant Esthetics from the University of Groningen, Netherlands.He is also a teacher, author, researcher, mentor and has written a book titled “Esthetic Dentistry-an Artist’s Science”.
He has many original scientific and research articles to his credit. He has been program director and visiting faculty at Linharth Continuing Dental Education (New York University) from year 1997-2019. He is currently the chief mentor for the ‘Aesthetic Dentistry and Occlusion fellowship’ program at D.Y. Patil.
As an educator, he enthuses dentists to never stop learning. He is a born leader, the driving force behind the Smile Care team and is avidly interested in wildlife and travel.
DR. ASHOK KARAD
DIRECTOR
An Orthodontist, author and an educator, he has been in practice since 1992. He has completed his BDS and MDS from Government Dental College, Mumbai.
He has been responsible for the conceptualization and development of training modules for the company in soft skills and technical aspects. He has authored a book titled “Clinical Orthodontics: Current concepts, goals and mechanics” and is a globally renowned speaker.
He has many scientific articles and innovations to his credit. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and skills as a photographer.
DR. PRANATI PATIL
DIRECTOR
Dr. Pranati has an experience of 34 years in paediatric dentistry. She completed BDS from Government dental college and hospital Mumbai in 1988 and certification in paediatric dentistry from New York University 1998.
She is extremely popular with her patients and effortlessly delivers painless children’s dentistry. Besides practicing Paediatric Dentistry, she leads the Clinical services and Administration divisions of the organization.
She actively participates in research activities as an Investigator and Assessor. She likes to travel and has a keen liking for cooking, music and graphic designing.
DR. VAISHALI KARAD
DIRECTOR
Dr. Vaishali Karad, completed her MDS in Orthodontics from Govt. Dental College and Hospital Mumbai. She has been into orthodontic practice for almost 30 years.
Apart from orthodontics, she has been actively involved in clinical Research at Smile Care.
She has also been guiding Smile Care to develop quality systems. In her spare time she enjoys travelling to places to enjoy nature.
DR. DIMPLE BHARADWAJ
SENIOR ASSOCIATE DENTIST AND CENTRE HEAD (GEETANJALI)
Dr. Dimple Bhondele Bharadwaj is a practicing dental surgeon for the last 26 years.She completed BDS from College of Dental Sciences,Manipal in 1996 and Master in Medical Sciences from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Bélgica in 2004.
She focuses on implant prosthodontics, aesthetic dentistry and restorative dentistry and has published several articles in peer reviewed journals. She is a faculty member of the ‘ Aesthetic Dentistry and Occlusion fellowship’ program at D.Y. Patil. University, Mumbai.
She enjoys travelling and is a fitness freak!

Dr. Vaishali Sangle is a practicing Dental Surgeon having an experience of 22 years. She completed BDS from Dr. D. Y Patil Dental College and Hospital. Nerul , Navi Mumbai in 2000.
She focuses on restorative prosthodontics,full mouth rehabilitations and aesthetics. She is a faculty member of the ‘ Aesthetic Dentistry and Occlusion fellowship’ program at D.Y. Patil. University, Mumbai.
She enjoys travelling, is an avid reader and a great chef!

Dr. Abhijit Vajramushti has an overall experience of 27 years. He completed his BDS from Vasantdada Patil Dental College kavalapur in 1995.
He has done certificate courses from NYU- College of dentistry(New York) and Columbia university-College of dental medicine(New York).
He has special focus on smile designing,full mouth rehabilitation,root canal treatment and implant dentistry.

Dr. Shraddha has an overall experience of 27 years. She completed her BDS from Government Dental College and hospital, Mumbai.
She specialises in aesthetics dentistry, extractions, fillings ,root canal treatments, over dentures, complete dentures as well as implant dentistry.
DR. SHWETA LALWANI
ASSOCIATE ENDODONTIST
Dr. Shweta Lalwani is an Endodontist with an Experience of 18 years.
She completed BDS from DAVV Indore in 2004 and MDS – Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from Barkatullah University, Bhopal in 2012.She focuses on root canal treatments and other complicated endodontic procedures.
She enjoys reading fiction and expresses her artistic side through her paintings!
DR. SWETA BHATTACHARYA

Dr. Sweta has been a practising orthodontist since 2019.
She graduated from Government Dental College, Burdwan, West Bengal in 2016 as a gold medalist, and completed her masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from Dr. D.Y Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune in 2019 as a topper.
She is a clinician par excellence who enjoys communicating with her patients, and truly understanding the problems.
Apart from enjoying her clinical practice, she is also a digital content writer, photographer, artist, and fitness enthusiast.

SENIOR CONSULTANT ORAL SURGEON
Dr. Mukul Padhye has been a practicing oral surgeon for 25 years.
He completed his MDS in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Nagpur University in 1996. He is currently the dean of faculty at D.Y.Patil University, Navi Mumbai.
A Post graduate teacher and mentor since 16 years with special interest in Augmentations for Implants, Orthognathic Surgery , Trauma & TMJ.Over several publications in various local, national and international journals.
He has been associated with Smile Care for 15 + years.
DR. ASMITA SAOKAR
CONSULTANT PERIODONTIST
Dr. Asmita Saokar is a Periodontist and Implantologist who has completed BDS from Nair Hospital and Dental College, Mumbai in 2014 and MDS – Periodontics from Manipal Academy Of Higher Education, Manipal, India in 2018.
She focuses on gum health and other periodontal plastic procedures.
She enjoys dancing and binge watching movies.

Dr. Rutika Patil has been associated with Smile Care since 2018. She graduated in 2019 from D.Y.Patil university and also completed the Post Graduate Program in Esthetics and Oral Rehabilitation from New York University.
She is currently pursuing her masters with King’s college London in Prosthodontics and is a junior faculty on the ‘Aesthestic dentistry and occlusion’ fellowship program at D.Y.Patil University.
She enjoys cooking, dancing and exploring new places.

Dr. Kanisha Shetty is a dental surgeon who graduated in 2019 from D.Y.Patil University, Mumbai.
She has a keen interest in the subject and is pursuing her masters from King’s College London and specialising in prosthodontics while continuing to work with Smile Care.
She is also a junior faculty on the ‘aesthestic dentistry and occlusion’ fellowship program at D.Y.Patil University. She enjoys dancing and travelling!

ASSOCIATE DENTIST
Dr.Jetal Thakur is a dental surgeon who graduated in 2019 from D.Y.Patil University,Mumbai.
She has a keen interest in clinical cosmetology with greater attention to botox treatments and how they enhance overall aesthetics and is looking to pursue the subject academically.
She enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures.
